About the Technology

Screw press sludge dewatering combines thickening and dewatering in a single compact unit. The system operates through a moving screw and fixed/moving ring mechanism, creating progressive compression and continuous self-cleaning — ensuring clog-free, stable operation.

Working Principle

Sludge enters the flocculation tank, where polymer addition promotes solid–liquid separation. The thickened sludge moves into the dewatering zone where the screw gradually narrows the pitch, increasing pressure and squeezing out water through moving and fixed rings. The filtrate exits through the gaps, and the dry sludge cake is discharged at the end plate.
